Early Career in Healthcare

My professional journey began as a Registered Nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, where I provided comprehensive care for children with complex needs. Over the years, I took on leadership roles, including Nursing Team Leader at Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust, where I led multidisciplinary teams, trained staff, and developed patient care plans. These roles honed my ability to analyze and interpret data, improve KPIs, and enhance care outcomes.

As a parent of a child with complex needs, I bring a deeply personal perspective to my work. This drives my profound and personal interest in enhancing disability services. This unique perspective fuels my passion for advocating for improved support systems and resources for children and families facing similar challenges. My firsthand experience fuels my commitment to leveraging data analytics to identify gaps, develop innovative solutions, and ultimately improve the quality of care and services for individuals with disabilities.

Transition to Data Analytics

My passion for solving complex problems and driving innovation led me to transition into data analytics, where I combine my healthcare expertise with advanced technical skills. Completing the Data Analytics Career Accelerator at LSE equipped me with proficiency in Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Excel, empowering me to translate complex datasets into actionable insights. By leveraging data analytics, I aim to revolutionize healthcare services, optimize processes, and improve patient outcomes.

When I'm not crunching numbers or analyzing trends, I enjoy spending time with my family, painting and drawing, travelling and playing netball, which keep me energized and inspired. I am a keen reader of health, well-being, and leadership trends, staying updated on the latest insights to inform and enhance my professional practice. I regularly post blog articles to share my knowledge with others. I also regularly participate in volunteer work, such as for Living Paintings, painting tactile books for visually impaired children. I also reguraly contribute to community services, which enriches my understanding and commitment to healthcare improvement.
